What a wonderful week I have had, Telford for regional Stampin’ Up! UK training, a monthly team training, a party at Sally’s, 3 days in the Netherlands and back in time to have 3 classes on Saturday !  Phew, I think it’s going to take a few days to share all my stories !

So lets go back to last week and the Stampin’ Up! regional training, we tried to get a team photo, but my team is huge……there were over 50 of us at the training and it’s a little dark, but don’t they look wonderful!  Can you see the lovely Kelly from the Stampin’ Up! UK office, she is in the very middle!

I did present a training at regional, my subject was maximising your sales and it was so lovely to hear from so many demonstrators who my presentation had helped, and lots of you said you read my blog, so Hi !!!!!!  Do please leave a message or two, it’s lovely to hear from you.

So once I was back from Telford it was a very busy week, first up team training.  I run a monthly evening team training in Hampshire, UK, it’s really well attended and lots of fun, but I guess you’d like to see some of the projects we made?  Our 3D item is my hostess gift for my May and June parties, it’s a gift bag/box with four 3″x3″ cards and envelopes, all tied up in a cello bag with some super cute ribbon and a tag. The original idea came from a presentation at the Stampin’ Up! North American Leadership meeting.

So since this post is quite picture heavy, you’ll have to pop back tomorrow for more of my tales of travelling, see you then.

Today is regional training day in Telford, we had a fairly uneventful journey, some great shopping, monsoon type rain…….and then a lovely dinner, so far a good trip!

I have my swaps to share with you, but first a what not to do with a hot glue gun……..if you are my friend on facebook you will know this story already, if not, please do go and find me on Facebook I would love to be your friend!  I was making swaps for my first level team and some of my Stampin’ Up! buddies and my first mistake was switching the hot glue gun on!  I then managed to drop a circle of card covered in hot glue on my left hand, now what I should have done is rushed to the sink and drowned it in cold water, but what I did was tear off the card to get rid of the burning glue…… 2 of my fingers are missing rather large chunks of skin!

I am glad to say that the swaps got finished off, without any other injuries!  Lots of different colours, I have used the silver metal buttons and in colour dahlias for the centres.

Oooo super quick post from me today, I’m still in my PJ’s and should be leaving in half an hour to go to Telford for a Stampin’Up! regional training.  There will be over 300 demonstrators attending of which more than 50 are in my team, yikes, I am so looking forward to seeing everyone.

Today’s card is using a great little kit called Sweet Threads Simply Sent.  You get everything you need to make 8 cards including die cut pieces, thread and needles.  All I have added is some ribbon.  The stamp is from a set which you can have bundled with the Sweet Threads kit it’s called Essentials.

I used to cross stitch a lot before I found stamping……….so it was lovely to sit and make this card.  It took me about an hour, so not long, I think it would make a great gift too!

I’ll be back tomorrow with my swaps ready for training.  See you then!

Wow, so you love the ‘This and That’ range ! Me too!  I shall be stalking the UPS man this week.

So whilst I wait for my delivery I have a 3d project to share with you today, it was part of the projects we made at my last Extravaganza day.  All of the elements are from the Artisan Embellishment kit, the frame is from Ikea as is the linen fabric which backs the picture.  I have to say I love this picture of Brian and I taken at Christmas by my brother, he’s a very talented photographer who specialises in weddings you can see his website here.

It’s my Mum’s birthday today !!!  Happy birthday Mum !

Now she is out and about all day and the post to sunny Lincolnshire is always a bit haphazard so I shall share her card with you later in the week when I know it is safe and sound in her hands!

So instead I thought I’d share a Christmas card!  There are still some of the Autumn/Winter stamp sets available in the Spring Summer catalogue and this one Ornament keepsakes is a firm favourite.  I hope it makes it into the new annual catalogue in July.  I love it because it has matching framelits and that means no cutting out!

I have used the piercing tool and mat to make the bauble strings and the word window punch along with Teeny Tiny wishes for the sentiment.
