Happy Birthday Gorgeous is a great name for a stamp set and a great greeting, who doesn’t want to hear that on their birthday?
Seriously it’s a great stamp set! For the projects today I’ve used the matching Happy Birthday Die and the Foil Frenzy Papers that are part of the suite of products you will find on page 76-77 of the Stampin’ Up! catalogue. I love to make a matching card and gift bag, they look great together.
Now the title ‘papers’ is a bit misleading in this case, they are card stock, and really sturdy so fantastic for making bags and boxes. The foil sparkles so much too!
I die cut the Happy Birthday in thick Whisper White card and then used a sponge dauber to make an ombre effect on it, just go gently because you can tear the letters, ask me how I know …….. I have only used one colour of ink, Berry Burst and stamped it 3 times to get the tonal effect.
Look at that sparkle! Did you know we have the mini gift bows too? They are tiny and VERY cute! As always the co-ordination that Stampin’ Up! provides is amazing.
