I know I am using Happy Birthday Gorgeous AGAIN! But it seems that not everyone in the world has bought it yet!  You need to scroll down to the bottom of this post and click onto my online store and buy it ! Seriously!

So todays card focuses on the flower stamps and it’s such a straight forward card to stamp.

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Card, with fussy cut flowers by Amanda Fowler Inspiring Inkin' Stampin' Up! UK

You stamp the seed pods and leaves in a circle pattern leaving a small gap in the centre and then you stamp and fussy cut out the flowers layering them onto with dimensionals.  Now I need to know why fussy cutting is called fussy cutting?  I’ve been doing some investigating….. and it’s actually a quilting term originally.  It then translated into paper crafting where we cut out the motifs or patterns for paper or in my case stamped images.  So there you go, a little bit of information for a rainy Wednesday!

Fussy cutting definition

I did cut out each individual flower and layered them one on top of the other.  A few rhinestones just finished off the card.

Salted Pretzel brownies are on my radar today, along with helping Kim pack and re-arrange all of her university kit. It’s amazing how much ‘stuff’ gets collected over 2 years.
