About Me
My name is Amanda Fowler, I live in Fareham, Hampshire. I’m a mum of 2 wonderful children aged 16 and 18 and a wife of 24 years…….where does the time go? I’m 44 and I had always wanted to turn my hobby into a career and as an addicted rubber stamper and paper crafter Stampin’ Up! provided the perfect solution.
I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator since they launched in the UK during November 2007, Stamping and Paper craft is not only my hobby, it is now my business and it is the best job I have ever had! I meet lots of wonderful people through stamping and paper craft, some have become lifelong friends and it is always a pleasure to share my creativity with others.
My enthusiasm for what Stampin’ Up! has to offer has meant I have shared the Stampin’ Up! opportunity with all my customers and most people I meet. My efforts have paid off tremendously, I now lead a downline of over 200 fellow demonstrators! I’m passionate about supporting my recruits, too. From assisting with their first workshop, and training them on everything from hostess coaching to submitting an order, I am dedicated to their success. I am looking forward to Stampin’ Up! bringing down it’s European borders on the 8th October 2012, which means I can grow my team in The Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria as well as the UK.
In 2011, I was placed 2nd in Demonstrator of the year for the UK for the second year running, I have been in the top 3 every year since Stampin’ Up! launched and 4 of my wonderful team were placed at 8th, 11th, 13th, 22nd. I was top in Sales also for the second year running and I also received an award for leadership and recruiting.
I was honoured with the Heart of Stampin’ Up! award in 2010. This award is given to people embody the spirit of Stampin’ Up!’s Statement of the Heart as they make a difference in people’s lives.
“To love what we do and share what we love, as we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments . . . in this we make a difference.”
This award is so special, you are nominated by other demonstrators and the CEO Shelli Gardner selects the winner.
During June 2012 I attended an all expenses paid trip to Vienna with my husband, courtesy of Stampin’ Up! as a reward for my sales and recruiting in the previous year. I have also achieved the 2013 incentive trip to Utah. I could not have achieved the successes I have without my fantastic downline team of Inspiring Inkees they are my Stampin’ Up! family.
