Last orders please…………Today 1st July 2013 is the last day for orders from the Spring/Summer catalogue and the annual catalogue, the new 2013-2014 annual catalogue launches tomorrow. I have one more order going in at 6pm today, call or email me to ensure you get the goodies you want!
Todays cards all all for the boys…….the first 2 showcase a retiring set called Dapper Dad, which leaves the catalogue today, I have seen lots of cards making a suit for the bow tie to sit on mainly on Pinterest, but this is my version, using the Houndstooth folder which I am very pleased to say is staying in the catalogue. I used my trusty Simply Scored to make the pintucks in the shirt. I know bling isn’t usual on a mans card, but I like the way the rhinestones make it look like a dress shirt.
Another stamp from Dapper Dad, this time is the watch, I have used a flattened Soda Pop Top to make the bezel of the watch, I can’t believe it but the Soda Pop tops are going……….I have several packs hoarded!
2 more cards, this time the stamps are staying, first up is clockworks and then Open Sea. We do have some gorgeous grunge stamps coming in the new catalogue that will work perfectly with these, I can’t wait to show you!
On the card below I handcut the porthole, I didn’t have the right size punches so had to make do with a plate…….I kinda like the rustic look, but shhhhhh if you don’t tell any one I’ll share, we are getting circles and squares framelits in the next catalogue, that will mean perfect portholes !!!!!
I know I am so behind on my challenge, but I do have a master plan and have been working on some secret things which will boost up my total, so you never know I might reach 365 projects by the 9th January 2014 !
