But lets start at the beginning, Stampin’ Up! have announced a Colour renovation, the most important thing for you to know is that this does not take effect in the UK until the 1st October 2010 so you have plenty of time to get stocked up on your favourites!

Now you will know how important colour is to our products, our co-ordination is amazing and the corner stone to our range.  From the 1st October we will have new colours, it does mean saying goodbye to some of our favourites but you will love the new ones……..!

I am very pleased to say Chocolate Chip is staying and is going to be joined with Early Espresso a deeper richer brown, and I love coffee as much as chocolate !  I think I am most excited about Rich Razzleberry, Marina Mist and Cherry Cobbler, what fantastic names !

The colour families are all changing as well. They will be called Brights, Neutrals, Regals, Subtles and instead of 12 colours there will be 10 in each family. To ensure the colour palette stays fresh they will be joined on the 1st October by 5 new In Colours, and in 2011 with 5 more giving us a total of 50 colours to play with.

So here are the New colours that will form the new range from the 1st October 2010.

As a team we have challenges and rewards and awards, I reward my team with all sorts of items, stamp sets and lots of SU! crafting goodies too along with chocolate cake! I have however been thinking about some special awards for some time, and my wonderful friend Ronda inspired me to take action with some great ideas and this is the result.

Today it is my very special pleasure to give out some awards to my team members who have started teams of their own, these are gifts from me to reward them because I know how hard they work in supporting their teams. I wanted to give them something that was personal to them that wasn’t crafting and that we could build on. So when they sign up their first recruit they will receive one of these:

Inside each little bag is a bracelet and 3 charms,

The first is a dragonfly because they are such amazing creatures, they work hard to change from bug to beautiful and it shows determination and a will to succeed. ( Look up the life cycle of a dragonfly and you will see how amazing these creatures are!)
The second is a star, because they are all my stars and they can all be counted on to shine!
The third is a bead for their first recruit.

They will recieve more charms from me when they promote and recruit, in fact some of my team have lots and lots of beads on their bracelets already, I’ll have to think about getting them a second one !!!

The start up costs are low, £139 for more than £240 of products. You can customise your starter kit by choosing your favourite stamps and ink and card stock colours, you will also receive all the business supplies you need.

I have a quarterly team training day on the 19th September and if you are thinking about signing up and would like to meet me and my wonderful team you would be very welcome to attend too! From October my monthly team meetings start so we have lots more time to stamp, share, laugh and learn together.

By signing up with me will become part of my team Inspiring Inkin’, and I’ll provide you with all the help and support you need — but I will never push or pressure you to do more than you wish to. Whether your goals are to just support your paper-crafting or stamping habit or you want to build a successful business, I am here to help. I will be here for you at all times – all you have to do is call or email me! I also support you with one on one training and even run your first workshop for you too, if you would like me to.

There is no risk at all, if at any time you no longer wish to be a demonstrator, you simply stop! There’s no penalty. You don’t have to return anything. You simply go back to being a customer.

I have been working with the fantastic team at Magmaker, the publishers behind Making Cards Magazine to produce a book on Decoupage.

The book has 17 wonderful projects includes all types of Decoupage, Victorian, 3D, Papertole and of course my personal favourite Decoupage from rubber stamped images.  I designed a wide variety of projects including cards, gifts and home decor items, and each one has clear step by step photos and instructions.  Of course Stampin’ Up! stamps and products feature in the book along with lots of other stamps, papers and equipment.

I saw the final proof over the weekend and it looks wonderful, the design team have done a great job.  It will be for sale soon and I will keep you posted on publishing dates and where to find a copy.

I think there might be the odd giveaway on my website too !

You all know I have the best Stampin’ Up! team of demonstrators my Inspiring Inkees and of course the most wonderful friends who are also my customers.

Well yesterday through a combined effort of sales and recruiting and lots of hard work by both me and my team, I achieved an all expenses, yes all expenses paid trip to Monaco during June 2010 !

Wow, I am thrilled, it is the first ever European incentive trip for Stampin’ Up! and will be very special. The location is wonderful, ever since I was a little girl I have dreamt of going to Monaco, I am a ‘Formula 1 Grand Prix nut’ and one of my ambitions is to walk the Grand Prix track because I don’t think an F1 team will lend me a car…………..!

So now onto some cards…………….Fresh Cuts

This is a card using my favourite Chocolate Lime combo, I love it! I have used the Fresh Cuts diecut note cards ( 15 in a pack and they are 4″ square) Pop out the diecut petals and stamp the background stamp in Chocolate Chip. Stamp the small flower image also in Chocolate Chip onto a piece of scrap Whisper white cardstock and cut out. Put a Certainly Celery Brad through the centre of the small flower and pop onto a dimensional foam pad and stick to the centre of the card. Back the diecut petals with a 3 3/4″ square piece of Certainly Celery.

For this card I took the petals from the previous card and stamped over them with the background stamp in Night of Navy, then using a sponge dauber covered the whole of each petal with Bashful Blue ink. I cut a 4″ square card blank from Whisper White and stamped the leaf stamp in Night of Navy all around the edge and then sponged Bashful Blue. Now to the slightly more fidly bit! Punch out a 5 petal flower from Night of Navy card and stick each diecut petal onto the flower, I found the tombow wet glue the best for this. When it’s dry attach to the front of the card and top with a Bashful Blue button with a bit of Linen thread tied in a knot to finish.

My husband and I have always dreamed of building our own house, it would definitely be made of lots of natural materials, wood mainly and be eco friendly too!  Whilst I was surfing the www this week I found this impressive house which although it would never be big enough for my family it is amazing.  I certainly would be wonderful for weekends away!

It is a real treat for any Tolkien fans out there too!

Last month Hayley also promoted to Silver 1, the first member of my team to achieve this.

I’m so pleased for both of them they have worked really hard, have big teams of their own that they support.  Superstars !!!!!

Now the way Stampin’ Up! works is to reward demonstrators for building their teams and supporting and training them with product incentives and higher commissions. By earning Silver 1 Jane and Hayley will receive £100 of Stampin’ Up! products of their choice direct from Stampin’ Up!  They will also be receiving goodies of their choice from me too!  I love to reward my team for their successes.
