Today’s card is a straightforward card, easy to duplicate for lots of Christmas cards with a variety of stamps.  The deer is from Winter Post and I have made him into Rudolf with my Real Red marker!

Last Christmas card for this week, I’m not sure the camera has picked this up, but there is a definitely dazzle on the tree!  I have used a mixture of Dazzling Diamond and White embossing powder to make a frosty snow look on my tree.

On Tuesday I went to Karen’s for a wonderful workshop with a group of ladies who invite me every couple of months.  They are all very experienced crafters, so it is a lovely challenge to come up with something for them.

Karen asked for a Christmas theme and this is the card we made., the tree is both water coloured  and highlighted with the gel pen, and the little white thread on the button is the white gel pen too!  A little tip I learnt from one of my lovely downlines, Amy.

The sentiment if from Seasonal wishes, another set on the last chance list, don’t delay!

This card is for the latest challenge over at Inspiring Inkin’ Challenge blog it’s all about Christmas!!!

The second part of the challenge is to not use Red or Green, so I have gone for slightly less traditional colours of Blue and Pink!

I have stamped the trees in Brilliant Blue and then masked the bases with a post-it note.  I then used a brayer with Bashful Blue to build up the layers and then towards to horizon line in Pretty in Pink.  I then stamped the greeting at the base also in Brilliant Blue.  The snow is tombow glue drizzled oer the base and then little spots on the trees all sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds.  2 simple mats of Pretty in Pink card with hole pierced on 2 sides finishes the card.

This is a card I’m sending to my hubby, who needs to forgive me for scheduling a class on Valentines day…………

I’ll be spending the day with 14 wonderful ladies who will be making 14 cards each in one of my all day classes. We will be having lots of fun and laughter, making new friends and stamping all day!
