So what exactly is Blog Candy……..? I was asked this several times on Sunday when I was busy talking to the visitors to the Papercraft show and telling them about my website. So if you like them don’t know what it is I shall explain, basically it is a giveaway, or free products that someone on a blog or website like this gives you for making a comment on their post or linking to their website.
For my blog candy you have 2 ways to enter, leave a comment on my blog and tell me what your favourite product from the new catalogue is, or for 2 entries link this post on your blog or website and leave a comment too.
To leave a comment, look above to the title and to the right of the date is “comments” click on that link and it will take you to a screen where you can read what other people have said and you can add your own comments. Remember to link your blog or website too, that will get you an extra entry into the draw.
So what am I giving away? Well a fantastic new stamp set Circle Circus
and the most useful accessory of them all, the mat pack and paper piercer.
And a mixed A4 cardstock pack, you choose the colour family and an ink pad of your choice.
The draw will take place on Sunday evening at 8pm UK time. Good luck.
Happy Stampin’
Amanda
How hard a question is that, to name just one favourite product from the new catalogue?! Naming half a dozen would have been much easier!
Ok, it’s got to be the mat pack. Not just because it’s in the prize, but because I used one in the Colbury make and take, and it’s such a brilliant idea, a handy size to pack when I go to a class, and made of high quality materials.
You know its going to take me forver to decide on that Amanda especially as both the Wheel Storage and the Mat Pack were on my wish list after visiting the States. But I am going to go for the Butterfly Punch, as I can see that coming in very useful at my sons wedding next year, as the reception is being held in our garden 🙂
Hi, Amanda .. I’ve spent a long time thinking about this and have finally come to a decision! Although I’d really like to get my hands on most things in the catalogue, I think the one product that I’d really like is the basic cardstock. I’m not that great at colour coordination and I think Stampin’ Up have really helped by doing that for me. So simple and also such great quality. Can’t wait to get my hands on some!!
Easy peasy, the PRETTIES KIT gets my vote. I’d love to experiment with different ways to colour the flowers, ink and blender pens/ chalks/daubers….so many options. Then there are the halfback pearls. I’m really into these at the moment, using them to act as a ‘stop’ to allow the front face of a card to remain upright and display a sentiment. Endless ways to use the beads and brads, even colouring them with the markers,to co-ordinate a whole project. Finally I was was greatly inspired by your use of the Hat Pin in the Summer Challenge competition. Soooooooo much in one kit, this is at the very top of my ‘Wish List’
Hmm how to choose, I rather like the butterflies, but I think that the Trendy Tree’s would be a fabulous set to own and very versatile

ps Linked to my blog too 🙂
Hi Amanda
I have studied the catalogue since I got it from you at Southampton Papercraft show on Sunday. It even comes to work with me so I can have a quick look at it when I have a minute. I love everything so this is a very hard decision but I have concluded that it is the Season of Joy stamp set. At first glance it is very Christmassy but after giving it more thought it is very versatile. The big worded stamp has many uses. It would be so effecive used as a block to capture many words associated with Christmas. Also I could mask words on this stamp to use single phrases or words. ‘Celebrate’ could be used for many occasions and I would just change the tree where the A should be. Merry & Bright could be used for a get well soon card if the merry was removed. I could stamp ‘Hope you feel bright soon’ for example. The little flowers in the word stamp could be used on any type of card or scrapbook page as could the larger single flower stamp. To me they are not just for Christmas. The same is valid for the swirl. I love scrapbooking and a swirl on a page is really beautiful. I am working on my wedding album just now and think the swirl would be beautiful used on some pages. It looks classy. It would look good on a Christmas, wedding, anniversary, engagement card and all sorts of scrapbook pages. The stamp ‘hand stamped’ could be used on the back of all my cards. It would be used over and over again. To me this set is good value as there are so many ways of using the stamps. This will have to be my next order.
I must say the whole catalogue is full of great products and ideas, but if anyone is looking for a great reason to be a hostess and justify spending lots of money on products (I hope my partner doesn’t read this!), Itty Bitty Buds has to be the ultimate – it’s just gorgeous and definitely my favourite!!!
So many nice new things in the new catalogue its knowing where to start – however I just treated myself to the Trendy Trees set of stamps as a starter so my favourite to date.
Fabulous candy! Thank you for the chance to win. I like the design of your blog, is cute 🙂 Well I can’t really decide what I like from the catalog because there’s a lot of pretty things! Anyways I think I like the butterfly stamps 🙂 they’re very cute!

Hi Amanda, fabulous candy! Thank you for the chance to win.
There is so much in the new catalogue that I like that it is very difficult to choose just one. If I must choose just one then I will go for flight of the butterfly.
I will link you to my new blog when I work out how to do it. I’ll post another comment when I’ve done it.
Take care, Julia x
