I love to heat emboss and last week when I was talking to a customer, the lovely Janet she explained that sometimes Heat Embossing can be tricky. So I thought it was a great reason to design a quick card and run over the basics in a video.
So this is the card it uses Perfect Peacock and the amazing Watercolour Wash stamp.

In the video I reference what can happen when you over heat the powder, this is the most common problem I hear of that the image goes flat and looks like it has soaked into the paper. I’ve tried to capture it in a photo, I hope you can see what I mean. The gold tone is how it should look and the darker flat areas are where it has been over heated.
