I was inspired to make this Tropical Chic Birthday card by looking at the colours in the Tropic Escape designer series paper that coordinates with the stamp set.  There are dies to coordinate with this stamp set, but I’ve stuck to stamps, ink and card for this project.  I hadn’t used Shaded Spruce before it’s a new colour and I love how it works with Old Olive and Blushing Bride.

To make the background I just randomly stamped the images.  Do make sure your ink pad is well inked.  The solid style of the stamps means they need lots of ink to ensure a crisp image.

I used the Happy birthday from Perennial birthday and used my triple banner punch to make the flag ends. A super quick card that has a jungle feel!

I am home now and catching up, I have a couple of events one tomorrow and one on Friday and then a weekend free. I need to get my Christmas cake made, and I think my tax return needs sorting out too!  What a rock and roll life I lead!
