Happy Friday! Today I have a gift bag for you using 6″ x 12″ piece of patterned paper. It makes a good sized bag and with the little turn over at the top you can see both sides of your patterned paper. Because I have maximised the space in the bag, the base isn’t as many layers as some of my other bags, so do put a reinforcing piece of card in the base if you are planning on popping anything heavy in it. I’ve got a top tip about making a handle too.
If you are reading this via email please click HERE to watch the video.
Here is the side view of the bag and a 2nd design I made too.
6″ x 12″ Patterned paper
Score at 3 1/2″, 5 1/2″, 9″ and 11″ turn
Score at 1 1/4″ and 5 1/2″

Brian and I will be busy in the garden this weekend, he’s been busy today putting in the 4th raised bed whilst I’ve been working. Tomorrow and Sunday I shall be in the garden too. Hoping to have some pictures for you next week! Meantime I’ve had a delivery of the Autumn-Winter catalogues so I’ll be labelling those and packing them up whilst watching movies and they will got out the last week of July.
I thought I might do a blog post on my bread baking soon, what do you think? If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook I’ve been putting up pictures of my bread, I’ve got a few tips and some fab tutorials to share with you, let me know if you would like to see some more.
So I best run and go and get my painting clothes on those sleepers aren’t going to get creosoted on their own !
