Hello, my name is Amanda Fowler.

I’m a stamper, paper crafter, baker, YouTuber, Blogger and all round creative who loves coffee, dark chocolate and I am learning to crochet!

I’ve been creative as long as I can remember, sticking, cutting and making has always been a part of my life. 35 years ago I found my first rubber stamp. At that point I was shopping for cross stitch patterns and the owner of the shop had been to the USA for supplies and come back with these tiny wooden stamps and ink pads.  They looked interesting, so I bought one with an ink pad to try it out and I was hooked. So much so that I went back the next day and bought the rest of them! I’ve been addicted to stamping ever since.

Over the following 20 years I married Brian, had 2 wonderful children, Connor and Kimberley, who were joined by Keeva the dog.

I have worked in a variety of roles,  Finance, Hotel and Catering, Youth Work, Coaching, Teaching and Training.  I continued to craft throughout that time and then I decided that I wanted to craft full-time.

I shared that dream with lots of people, most of whom said I was crazy. Well, I was sure it was possible. I was already working part-time as a demonstrator for crafting companies across the UK, in stores and at shows; and also working for crafting magazines as both a contributor and an editor and even wrote a book on decoupage!

In 2007 I heard that a USA based company called Stampin’ Up! was launching in the UK.  It was a direct sales company (think Tupperware for crafters) and sold products from a catalogue through home parties.  I was so excited. I had come across Stampin’ Up! a few years before but at that time the products were only available in the USA.  I loved their designs, stamps, and coordinating products; it was a perfect opportunity, at the perfect time for me.

So I applied for a starter kit on the day the company launched in November 2007.  I didn’t even know what was in that kit, but I knew I wanted to build a business.

Since then I’ve worked really hard, I built a large team, spread far and wide across the UK and into Europe. I’ve made so many friends, and I love crafting every day, teaching classes, running parties and training events.  It’s a dream job!

I have ranked in the top 5 in the UK every year since we launched and am also ranked in the Global 100. I hold the highest title a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator can hold, Platinum Elite, reflecting my sales and team mentoring skills.

I celebrated my 15th Stampin’ Up! Anniversary in November last year and it has been an amazing journey. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I still share my love of stamping at my classes, events and team training, but also online too. I have a blog and share my creations on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.  My YouTube channel is one of my favourite ways of connecting with people, I love to teach and share, and videos are such a great way of doing this.

Yes I still love my job! If it sounds like something you would like to do too, you can read all about joining my team HERE.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, I’d love for us to stay connected. Click on the subscribe button below to receive blog and newsletter updates along with an exclusive Waterfall card video.
