I love butterflies and the Sketched Butterflies stamp set is wonderful. I wasn’t going to buy it, I have lots of butterflies already…… you know how that goes! But I am so pleased I caved in and added it to my recent order. Its such a joy to work with and has lovely sentiments too.
In this Craft and Chat replay, I make the same style of card an Easel, in both portrait and landscape options.

This type of Easel is really simple, make your card blank, whatever size you want, it can be square or a rectangle. Cut a mat layer the same size as the front of the card. Score the front of the card, either landscape or portrait in half and adhere the extra piece of card as shown on the video.
Super simple works every time!
Here are all the Stampin’ Up! items I used in the video. Click on the pictures to go shopping in my online store.
Busy weekend for me, Scrapbooking workshop all day tomorrow, and bathroom research on Sunday. Its time to sort out our upstairs bathroom, its actually quite small, and the toilet, sink and bath can only go in one way, so I say research, its mainly going to be what will fit! Once we’ve figured that bit out we can look at the colours.
Have a great weekend whatever you are up to and I’ll be back soon with some more creative inspiration.

I absolutely love the portrait and landscape butterfly cards and would like to create them myself. When I go to your blog, I can’t find the measurements etc. to create this card. I am a little technology challenged so I am sure I am missing something.
Would you be so kind as to direct me to where I can find the measurements?
Hi Kathy, there aren’t any measurements, just make a card the same way as you do normally, and cut an extra layer for the front. Then score the front of the card in half. Hope that helps!
