Frequently asked questions about joining Stampin’ Up!
I’m so pleased you are thinking about joining my team. Below you will find answers to many common questions, but do please call 07890 426945 or email me if you have further questions. I am a top UK demonstrator and I have a large team along with more than 12 years of experience. My team, Inspiring Inkin’, is a fabulous community both online and in person, we have regular events across the UK. I would love you to join us!
How much does it cost? The kit costs £99 and you can choose up to £130 worth in products and the kit ships FREE. You can include any items from the Annual Catalogue or the Spring-Summer Catalogue. You also receive a business supplies kit which includes catalogues, order forms and everything needed to get your business started. For my European Friends the kit is €129 and you get €175 of products.
Who can join?
Anyone over the age of 18 in the UK, France, Germany, Austria or The Netherlands can join my team.
What will I do as a demonstrator?
As a demonstrator you have the freedom just to shop for yourself, or to share your love of paper crafting, creating cards, gifts or scrapbook pages with family and friends; or to start on a journey to find new customer friends and create your own small or growing business.
Do I have to demonstrate?
Everyone who joins Stampin’ Up! is called a demonstrator, even if they don’t demonstrate. It is absolutely fine for you to be your own best customer. If you can reach the manageable quarterly minimums with your own purchases you can simply join and benefit from the discounts and deals yourself. There is no pressure from me as your team leader or from Stampin’ Up! for you to do more than you want to. However I will be there to support you if you wish to build a business.
You are in charge and you set your own targets and goals. Stampin’ Up! offers some great financial and product based incentives to get you sharing and earning so there is lots of scope to earn, promote and be rewarded simply by sharing what you love and the fantastic products.
What is the quarterly minimum?
The quarterly minimum sales target is 300CSV (approx £280). CSV is a common unit of value throughout all the world markets that Stampin’ Up! operates in. Whenever we talk about sales it is shown in CSV not local currency. Your first quarterly minimum needs to be reached at the end of a full quarter. If you join part way through a quarter you will be given till the end of the next quarter to reach your minimum. The quarters are January-March, April-June, July-September and October December. If you join now, we are in the July-September quarter, you will have until the end of December to meet your first quarterly minimum.
What discounts do I get?
On all orders placed you receive 20% discount off the net product total (the total after VAT is taken off). You can increase this to 25% as you progress through the business meeting higher sales targets. You can also earn additional money through volume rebates when your sales grow and if you build a team, you can also earn monthly downline overrides as well.
You can also earn more free and discounted products through the Stampin’ Rewards and Stampin’ Up! promotions and sales. In addition you will also be able to preview and pre-order new products a month in advance of the catalogue launch. This is an amazing benefit, and you get your minimum 20% discount on those purchases too!
What training and support will I receive?
By joining, you will become part of my team Inspiring Inkin’, and I’ll provide you with all the help and support you need but, I will never push or pressure you to do more than you wish to. Whether your goals are to just to support your stamping or craft hobby or you want to build a successful business, I am here to help. I have over 12 years of experience and knowledge and can help you as little or as much as you need.
I offer 1 to 1 training, daytime and evening training events online and in person and get togethers. Online training, videos, facebook groups, business building and as much support as you need. Stampin’ Up! provides a demonstrator website which is full of amazing resources as well.
At my training and events we craft together and share inspiration as well. I offer business topics and skills, so whether you are a demonstrator who has joined just get a discount for yourself or you intend on building a business there will be something to interest you at my team meetings. Inspiring Inkin’ is a fabulously friendly, supportive and active team of people who love what they do and share what they love with others!
Are there any Stampin’ Up! events that I can attend ?
Yes, we have 2 Stampin’ Up! events each year, in April and November each year, and of course you have our Inspiring Inkin’ team training events too.
Do I have to hold stocks of product?
No. You will only order items when you or a customer places an order and pays you in advance. So you won’t need to keep stock of products.
What if I decide it’s not for me once I’ve started? Will I be penalised if I quit?
If you decide it’s not for you then you simply stop placing orders. If you don’t meet the minimum quarterly requirement, you will just finish as a demonstrator at the end of the pending month. No penalties, no questions asked!
What should you look for in a Team Leader?
It is really important that you chose the right Team Leader for you. As once you have joined you cannot change you team leader without resigning and waiting 3 months before you can join again. Think about what you want from a Team Leader, make a list of questions and call or email them. Your Team Leader doesn’t need to be local to you. Here are a few questions for you to think about…..
- Is your potential team leader easy to contact and communicate with?
- Are they helpful, friendly, supportive?
- Do they have experience and knowledge of the Stampin’ Up! business?
- Do you want to build a business? If so what type of business building support do they offer?
- Do they offer events and get togethers?
- Do they offer online services and training?
- Are they local to you?
- Do you prefer an online community?

How do I join?
To join, all you need to do is complete these quick and simple steps Click the £99 Starter Kit button below
- Read the demonstrator agreement and agree to the terms and conditions
- Click the Starter kit at £99
- Click the business supplies pack
- Add £130 (€175) worth of any products to the order (you cannot go over the £130 (€175) so get your list as close to it as you can!)
- Pay £99 or €129
After you’ve submitted your starter kit, Stampin’ Up! will send you emails with your demonstrator ID and you can go onto the demonstrator website and log in. You’ll find it at https://www.stampinup.uk/ and look for Demonstrator Login at the top right (make sure the page has the UK showing at the top, not the US page).
After logging in, you will need to enter banking information such as your IBAN and BIC codes. These can be found on bank statements, or by calling your bank customer service number. You will need to set up banking so Stampin’ Up! can pay you commissions and so you can pay for your orders. You can change these details at anytime.
Your kit is shipped direct to you within 5-7 working days.
Stampin’ Up! will email you when your Starter kit is shipped.
You have a 7 day cooling off period from when you place your starter kit order, so you cannot place any further orders until that time is up.

If your order is over £150 before postage you will qualify for Stampin’ Rewards and should not use the Inkin' Host Code, the Stampin' Rewards start at £15, and are available for you to add things to your order. You will get automatic entry into the Inkin' Host Code Club or the Craft-a-Long Club if your order is over £150.
If your order is under £150, please use the current "Inkin' Host Code".
When you enter the Inkin’ Host Code with your order it is automatically grouped with other orders that also entered that Inkin’ Host Code. At the end of each month I close the Inkin’ Host Code and ask everyone which Club they would like to be in.
Inkin’ Host Code Club
I choose some Stampin’ Up! goodies for everyone who joined in that month and send them out to you via Royal Mail along with your thank you card for shopping with me.
Each month I host a Craft-a-Long in my Facebook group Inspiring Inkin’ Crafting Corner. Everyone who is in the club is sent out a kit in the post and you can join in and Craft-a-Long with me.

To use the Inkin’ Host Code, first navigate to the ‘My Shopping Basket’ screen ( it’s top right hand side of the screen and it’s a basket with a heart in it) and enter the Inkin’ Host Code in the box in the lower right hand corner then click ‘apply’. You might need to click the + to get the entry box to open up. Double check my name Amanda Fowler is in the top left hand corner..
And that is it! You can continue shopping or continue to the checkout.
Any order you place will be delivered in 5-7 working days via UPS and costs just £4.95, Stampin' Up! will send you a shipping notice via email and you can look forward to some goodies in the post from me too !
I send out Thank you cards and goodies for everyone who has placed an order using the Inkin' Host Code AND for those who have placed an order over £150, in the middle of the month following the order. So if you order in January your goodies from me will arrive mid February. Your main order will arrive as normal in 5-7 working days.
