Its time for a colour challenge. Over the coming months I’m going to drop in creative challenges to encourage you to get crafty! I love seeing the things that you create. Sometimes they will be colour based, like today. Other times you’ll find I post a challenge technique or layouts. I would love to see what you create, please email your pictures, or share them on my Facebook page on the challenge post there.

Who can resist bright Granny Apple Green? Too bright for you? Tone it down with subtle Calypso Coral and neutral Night of Navy. Use these colours in a creative project for this challenge. Don’t have all these colours? No problem! Just use the nearest you have.

Inspiring Inkin Colour challenge Amanda Fowler Stampin' up! UK

I’m looking forward to seeing all your creations.

Here is my card, way more subtle than those colours would suggest! Just a hint of Calypso Coral on the flowers.

Here are all the Stampin’ Up! items used. Click on the pictures to go shopping in my online store.

We’ve had a bit of a week! Two trips to A&E and I have a new accessory of crutches! Thankful as always for the amazing NHS, we had such wonderful care and attention, truly grateful.

First up was Brian, he was helping neighbours with some overgrown bushes, brambles and trees. At some point his glasses got knocked off and he got jabbed in the eye. A few minutes later it was obvious we need to go to A&E his eye was completely bloodshot. His vision is fine but his cornea had been scratched and he had several abrasions on his eye. He’s improving each day, and although his eye looks dreadful, he’s lucky it wasn’t much worse.

I’ve had a problem with my knee after a couple of falls, well speaking with the GP and my lack of improvement, the concern was a fibula head fracture, so I’ve been back and forth to get that looked at, thankfully its not broken, but my knee isn’t good, and apparently I’ve been doing too much…… Hence the crutches, they are to slow me down! The good news is, it seems to be improving, now I’m resting it properly. Please do roll your eyes at me! I know, slow down!

Do remember to get booked in for the Online Scrapbook Retreat and the In Person Fun with Florals class held in July, booking is closing on Monday, I don’t want you to miss the deadline!

So Brian is taking me to the beach to get fish and chips for tea and then we are going to chill out all weekend! No adventures, no running about and no more injuries!

I hope you have a wonderful time whatever you are up to this weekend.
