Origami Frame Card Video Tutorial

A fun and quick origami fold for you today. It showcases both sides of your patterned paper, which I think is great because sometimes they are so pretty its a shame to glue them down! Don’t let the origami title put you off, its really simple I promise.

You need to start with a square of patterned paper the same size as your card front, so for the cards I show on the video it was a 6″ x 6″ and a 4″ x 4″ ( or 15 cm x 15 cm and a 10 cm x 10 cm).

I couldn’t help but make a smaller size as well. this one is a 4″ square.

Make sure to use a bone folder to get the creases really crisp, it makes a huge difference on the finished card.

I’ve been busy with my Scrapbook Retreat this week, its been lots of fun selecting my photos to be printed and finalising the pages. Booking is open for the retreat until the 30th June. The Scrapbooking Retreat is online and on the 12th and 26th July, everything is recorded so if those dates don’t work you can watch on replay. There are 3 options for you to choose from:

• The Ultimate – £129 – which includes all 4 events, recordings, and PDF’s.Your choice of a D Ring or Post Bound Album, A Make a Memory Scrapbook kit, Journalling pen, Page Protectors, Flip Flaps, Two Tone and White Willow card and all the papers, die cuts, embellishments and supplies you need to make the Scrapbook pages. (you will need a basic crafting kit, inks and photos.) This option is available in the UK only.
• The Kit – £79 – which includes all 4 events, recordings, and PDF’s.  A Make a Memory Scrapbook kit, Journalling pen, Flip Flaps, Two Tone and White Willow card and and all the papers, die cuts, embellishments and supplies you need to make the Scrapbook pages. (you will need a basic crafting kit, inks, photos, an Album and page protectors.) This option is available in the UK only.
• The Classes – £29 – which includes which includes all 4 events, recordings, and PDF’s. But no crafting supplies will be sent.  This option is available worldwide.
