Floral Charm Fun Fold Cards Video Tutorial

A fun fold video tutorial replay today. This is such a great card, it showcases both sides of your patterned paper and is quick and easy to do. You are basically making 2 cards and sticking them together, using the front strip turned to make the sentiment layer. I’ve used the fabulous Floral Charm papers, they work really well with the florals on one side and the tone on tone on the reverse.

I found the missing card from my class, so you can see all three versions! Its a craft and chat replay, so 20 minutes or so of chatting and then I get crafting. Scroll down for more pictures and the measurements.

Measurements for the Fun Fold card

• Card Base 8” x 5 3/4” scored at 4” then cut off a 2” strip from the front
• Trim that 2″ strip to 4″ x 2″ for the horizontal layer
• Inside folded patterned paper 7 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 3 3/4”
• Two patterned paper strips 1 3/4” x 5 1/2” for the front and the inside
• Basic White Sentiment layer 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
• Inside white layer 3 1/2” x 5 1/2″

I’m in full on Christmas mode now…… yes, I know its August, yes, I know we are getting a heat wave in the UK next week, and no, its not too early! Its never to early for Christmas in my world! Basically I am always in design mode for the opposing season, Christmas in the Summer, and designing Spring & Summer at Christmas!

I have so many events to design for. A Christmas retreat which includes 4 events, 2 in person Christmas events, a Team Day and 8 online events to sort out. I’m surrounded by Poinsettias, Elves, stocking, foliage and bows! My UPS delivery driver has been busy bring me lots of Autumn-Winter ( mainly Christmas) soon to be launched Stampin’ Up! goodies. I will be sharing sneak peeks soon and the catalogues will go in the post the last week of August.
