Two Christmas cards, featuring 2 of my favourite stamp sets that will be released next week! I always want Christmas cards to be striking, but quick to make and pretty flat. Postage continues to increase so flatter cards are a smart choice. These cards are made with a masking technique and are really quick to make.
But first in this video replay is a huge amount of sneak peeks, I showcase lots of new products, the products that are being included in my Christmas retreat and products for the next couple of Craft Togethers, which is my monthly posted online class. Gift of Joy is the stamp set I am including in my Christmas Retreat and Winter scenes is such a versatile set I had to include it.
I used a 2 3/8″ circle punch and a piece of card for the mask. But you could use masking paper or a large post-it note. Just make sure to hold it down steady when you are using the blending brush. My other top tip, go really lightly with the ink and blending brush, you jusy want a whisper of colour.
Colouring in embellishments with a sharpie marker, your blends alcohol markers is such an easy way to co-ordinate to your project. Make sure to leave a bit of time for them to dry though!
