Happy Birthday to me!

and is it nearly Christmas yet………..?
Today is my birthday and Brian has taken the day off and is taking me out, I know not where or why or what, it’s a surprise, very exciting! I will have some lovely birthday cards to show you over the weekend, as I type I can see a big pile on the mantelpiece, lots of squishy parcels too !
Onto today’s card, and yes you may have guessed it it’s a Christmas card, we made this at card club earlier this month, I did think there might be a riot, but everyone took it in their stride. It’s a good idea to get started early I think, less stress in December then, and I’m all for less stress!
Rudolph has a very sparkly red nose, now Stampin’ Up! doesn’t do coloured gemstones but it is very easily solved, with a Sharpie marker pen! Just colour over the top of the rhinestone, leave to dry for a couple of minutes and they are ready to add to your project.
Happy Stampin’

[...] His antlers are made using the Swirls Scribbles Sizzlet die and the Big Shot and all I have done to the owl punch is cut his feet off, ouch! The red gem is made by colouring a clear rhinestone with a sharpie marker you can see a picture at the bottom of the page here. [...]
