Saturday was wonderful, some of my favourite ladies all in a room, sharing, crafting, laughing and of course eating cake!
As I mentioned in my previous post it was my hostess appreciation event, this is an invitation only event, but all you have to do to get an invitation is invite some of your friends over for a stamping party or workshop!!
Now I was all prepared this year, everything was organised, I had a system and schedule, 2 helpers ( thanks Michele and Kimberley) so what did I forget to do………? Check my camera had batteries ! So of course it was flat! The following picture have been taken by the lovely Anna Marie, she even got a good one of me in action! (Decent photos of me are rare! )
Shall we start with the cake?
I need to say thank you to Amy too, she bought some fabulous iced cookies to share as well!
The start attraction was Kimberley’s glittery cupcakes……….she used edible glitter it’s nearly as sparkly as Dazzling Diamonds. I think I will have a famous chef on my hands….
Here is my BOGOF “Buy one get one free” table, my hostesses can buy my retired products and then have an equivalent amount to spend in the new catalogue………ooooo did I say new catalogue………yes they got one of those too……….I love the arty angle of this shot. I still can’t work out where Anna Marie was standing!
I took everyone on a tour through the new catalogue, my favourite set is on page 41…….Arrrrrrrr……..! ( sorry but can’t tell you or show you yet 4 days to go!) Here I am in action.
And then it was time for the raffle, taking pictures of lots of new samples and of course the 4 Make and Takes, 3 cards and a notebook, I will share them later this week.
So does this sound like your idea of a fun, FREE event? Book a workshop with me and I’ll see you on Saturday 24th September 2011.
Looks like fun! My favourite set is on page 35… and page 56… and 36… and of course the one I have already on page 64!
It would be so hard to choose a favourite set from the new catalogue at this stage….I love so many of them!!
Your event looks fab and so do the cakes 🙂
