Well it’s chilly here in Hampshire, but no snow……..I have been watching the weather forecast daily to see if the snow would return just in time for my re-scheduled card club tonight…….but so far so good, the weatherman says rain…….and we are so used to that!

Today’s post is a quick and easy way to jazz up your baubles. Each year I have to throw some away that are broken and lots I put back in the box because they don’t match my colour scheme or are a little boring !

You certainly wouldn’t call this one boring.

I was playing last time we had a snow day with some plastic baubles the type that come apart in 2 halves and stuffed them full of sparkly angel hair and then decorated them.  Now this is so quick and easy but there is a knack to it.  I have used the Stampin’ Up! glue dots they come on a roll and I have peeled off the backing and carefully rolled the glue dot onto the bauble.  You need to go quite slowly or you distort the circle shape of the glue dot.

I did about 6 dots at a time, then I sprinkled on some of our amazing Cosmo glitter, it’s really fine, and very very sparkly.  You do need to press it firmly onto the glue dot to make sure all the glue is covered.  Then repeat………I used both a very pale green and purple glitter for this bauble.

I’m off to do some more Christmas shopping now, and to make sure there are plenty of mince pies for Card Club tonight.

Happy Stampin’
