The card today uses what I think is going to be my new “can make any type of card with this” stamp set! It is called Clearly For You and is made up of 12 different elements. It is designed to go with the Beveled Windowpanes which are stunning, crystal clear and in the pack you get 3 different sizes.
The card is using a Colour combination of Cajun Craze, More Mustard and Baja Breeze, loving this at the moment, the card uses all new products!
I stamped the birds in Cajun Craze and then over stamped the patterned block in More Mustard. It is attached using tiny piece of snail and then the Seam binding ribbon wrapped through. The Top Note Die has a stitched edge around it so on the More Mustard layer I trimmed that off and then embossed it using the Vintage wallpaper Embossing folder, the depth of this embossing is wonderful!
I then finished off the card with an attempt at a bow, you will know that I am not good at bows……..but I’m quite pleased with this, it’s better than my usual effort, must be the seam binding!
Now the inside needs to be decorated because the front is quite heavy and you need it for balance. I have cut a Top note from Baja Breeze Textured card and then cut another scrap of More Mustard using the Top Note die. I then trimmed the scrap at the Stitching line, embossed it using Vintage Wall paper and stamped the birds too.
So did you know that the Big Shot is a scrap reduction machine!!!
Happy Stampin’
Sweet, your bow looks perfect! Who says you can’t do bows? You can and you did! xx
I can see you are having GREAT fun with new goodies from the mini catalogue!! Love the Top Note Die, Embossing folder and the seam binding ribbon is scrumptous.
