Today is my Mum’s birthday and I can post this now as her card did arrive on time!   Phew with all the bank holidays I was a little worried this morning…….

My email hasn’t been working properly for a few days, the computer servers have been changed so if I haven’t replied to you, or you’ve had a message bounce back from me please send it again, I hope it will be sorted properly in the next couple of days, I am sorry for any problems this has caused.

I hope you watched the Royal wedding yesterday, it makes me very proud to be British I can tell you !  If you missed the pictures………go here to see the official ones, they are fabulous, and include pictures of the whole day and the Wedding cake, the chocolate one looks fabulous!

So onto Mum’s card, I’ve taken the picture using my new camera……I took lots of advice and have gone for a Canon Ixus, very cute, lightweight and it seems to take a good picture too!

Mum’s card is Chocolate Chip with So Saffron and uses the Big Shot Beautiful Butterflies and Top Note dies.  I have used Champagne Mist Shimmer paint over the top of the sponging on the butterflies which gives a really warm glow.

Please note yet another bow, I’m feeling very proud, however, don’t think you will get me doing a bow in a class or workshop though, I’m not that good yet!
