So sorry to have been missing for a while, the virus has knocked me for 6, so much so I had to cancel a class, take some time off and admit that I’m not super woman !!!

So I’ve hung up my cape and I’m taking things a little easier, and you know what, the world didn’t stop turning, my wonderful customers and team have been amazing sending me good wishes, calling, sending cards, flowers, gifts and without exception everyone has told me I should slow down and take care of myself!  I say this so often, but I really do have the best job in the world and am surrounded by wonderful and caring people I am a very lucky lady.

So that’s what I’m doing, getting better day by day ( Doctor said it could be while….) working and resting when I need to, my summer will be quite quiet, I’m hoping the sun will return soon and I shall love spending time with Brian and the kids.  I think the quiet time will be needed because Stampin’ Up! UK have got some amazing things planned for you this autumn, I’m not spilling the beans just yet but stay tuned for updates.

Speaking of updates, I know some of you will be waiting for the final Vienna instalment, I will post it in the next couple of weeks, but I’ll date it on the website so it follows on from the last one, I hope that makes sense?

I have a couple of cards for you today using the lovely Everyday Enchantment paper available only in July 2012 or until stocks last, if you scroll down you will see the offer that is running for the rest of July, you get the matching brads and ribbon set with each £45 you spend.

The first is a very simple card, the only bit of cleverness is the use of the Decorative Label punch, one vertical, one horizontal as a mat layer underneath the 1 3/4″ circle punch, thanks to my lovely friend Jenny Moors for showing me that trick.

The 2nd card has a bit of Bigshot going on……..the hearts embossing is so cute and there is the lovely FREE ribbon, you know you need some right?

Now one final thing before I go, I have re-arranged my Romancing the Sea class to August 25th 2012.  You can see the other classes taking place on that day by clicking here.

Romancing the Sea !            £35         1pm till 4pm

There are so many wonderful stamp sets in the summer mini catalogue I can’t fit them all into my classes, so this class is a 2 for 1. You can choose either the Bordering on Romance or The Open Sea stamp set to be included in your class fee.  We will make 6 cards, 3 using each set, so you will have cards for Men and Ladies and for lots of different occasions, you will also get to grips with Bakers Twine and the new Edgelits dies.

Your fee includes your choice in wood or clear mount of Bordering on Romance  OR The Open Sea value maximum of £24.95.

Happy Stampin’
