I hope you are enjoying December, I am so pleased the rain has stopped, it’s very chilly, but I love the frost in the morning and the nip in the air.  It’s even better that I work from home so don’t have to scrape the car in the mornings, unless I’m on the school run for Kimberley and her friends.

I have been really busy lately, I know, what’s new !!!!  Kimberley has had her 16th birthday, watch out for pictures of her card and cake!  Brian and I also took a few days off to get some decorating done, we now have painted walls, a tiled floor and skirting board in the utility room, painted skirting in the lounge ready for the floor going down the week before Christmas……….!  I seemed to have a supporting role in the decorating……more cheerleader than worker, I do have an amazing hubby and the extension is really looking good.  My craft room will start to take shape early next year, so that is very exciting too.

Today I have a couple of Christmas cards for you, it’s not too late to make some and at this time of year I have orders going in every couple of days, if you need some goodies or something wonderful from Stampin’ Up! for under your Christmas tree, just call me “Santa Amanda”  Ho Ho Ho !!!!!  I have several ladies who are going to be very happy that their loved ones have placed orders with me.

This first card uses the Ornament Keepsake stamp set and the matching Festive paper piercing pack, the paper piercing packs make it so easy to get a great decorative effect around the edge of the stamped image. The cardstock is Night of Navy, as is the stamping and the ribbon, but the colour doesn’t seem quite right on this picture, they are both the same, honest……..!

Ornament Keepsakes, stampin' Up!

This second card is also super quick with only the sentiment stamped which is from Greetings of the Season.  I have used the Holiday collection Framelits to cut out 3 Christmas trees in Pool Party, Brushed Silver card and Island Indigo card.  they are on the top of a Perfect Polka Dots embossed piece of Whisper White card.  A lovely flat card, suitable for standard postage.

I shall be back every day this week as I have lots to share including part 2 of my convention story, some more Christmassy goodies and some winners from my birthday celebrations.

Happy Stampin’
