What a week it has been, Connor turned 18, a Stampin’ Up! party, two card clubs and a trip to London to see some of my old ( and not so old…….) Girl Guiding Friends for a 21st Anniversary party.
I have laughed and cried and my cheeks hurt from smiling, so I guess that makes it a good week!
So this week is a little quieter only 1 party at the lovely Kerry’s on Friday so that will give me lots of time to get caught up and perhaps play with the new products that are sitting looking at me ! I have a couple of goodies for you to see today, both of them were items we made at team training last month and they showcase the fabby paper that is part of the Sale-a-bration choices.
First up is a box and lid made using the Fancy Favour die for the big shot. The base is made as the box is designed and the top, has the flaps cut off and is turned upside down to make the lid. I don’t glue the lid, just punch a hole and thread ribbon through to secure. That gorgeous ribbon is also part of Sale-a-bration, remember you get a pick for every £45 you spend.
If you look closely at the tag you can see, I have glued a dahlia to a Sale-a-bration Button and then put that on the smallest framelit from the Floral Frames collection. It also cuts out the pattern from the Sale-a-bration paper, Stampin’ Up! co-ordination at it’s very best!
Now a slightly dodgy stamped card……..just don’t look to closely at the top……! Oval framelits take centre stage and again a fabby dahlia. That colour co=ordination is great isn’t it.
So that’s 2 more projects towards my total, do come back tomorrow for news of a competition that you don’t want to miss!
