So today I shall share a little bit about my adventures in the Netherlands. I am working hard to grow a European team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators and last week I volunteered to help out on a Stampin’ Up! stand at Liebelle Zomerweek, in Almere. You can see all about the show here.
I flew in on Wednesday ready for a bright and early start on Thursday, here are some of my new Stampin’ Up! friends who also worked on the stand with me. Do note it was sunny at that point!
We met and amazing group of women, many of whom had never heard of Stampin’ Up! we ran make and takes all day, and even my very limited dutch was not a problem, it seems papercrafting and rubber-stamping and lots of smiles don’t need translation! I have to say a huge thank you to the dutch girls who kindly taught me lots of dutch words too!
For some ladies it was their first ever card, and they were very proud!
Now earlier I did mention the sun…….well it didn’t stay long……..it started to rain gently at first, but then it poured, in fact I felt quite at home! Although we could shelter inside the marquee, we needed to talk to everyone so I did spend quite sometime outside in the rain, my shoes needed wringing out when I got back to the hotel!
