I’m still not entirely sure that my trip the the Home Office and Kanab wasn’t a dream, it’s bizarre but I have been wanting to go since I first joined Stampin’ Up! and it was fabulous !
For years I have read about visits to the Home Office, and it really is that, an Office that feels like it is a HOME…..sounds wierd, of course there are all the trappings of an office space, desks, computers, filing cabinets etc but everywhere you look there are creative touches, sofas, wall art, it just looks like someone’s home.
This is the sight that greeted us, all the staff were on the balconies, cheering, clapping, you were hit by a wave of emotion, now if you know me well, you will know I cry……….so yes I was blubbing……..thankfully so were lots of other demonstrators ! Oh and by the way, that huge expanse, garden and waterfall, that’s the reception………..!
I haven’t really mentioned my darling Brian, he was of course with me the whole trip, in fact all but one day, when he went off and had an adventure all of his own which I shall share in another post. I am so lucky to have such a supportive husband and family, big shout out to my Mum, Dad, Connor and Kimberley who looked after one another whilst we were gone! Love you all lots !!!!!
The amazing Shelli on the left and Sara on the right.
A new friend from Australia, Tracy !
The tour of the home office included the distribution centre, now for me it was amazing, but I guess for anyone not quite as Stampin’ Up! obsessed as me it might be be as interesting so I have limited myself to just one picture. It was vast, although the picking line seemed tiny………
We did some make and takes and got to place with some new product and look at this fabulous stamp !!!! made especially for the incentive trip.
We did get a bit of retail therapy in after the visit, I might have found myself in Tiffany’s, and maybe a dragonfly pendant could be in my possession…….and then we went to the Cheesecake factory, for dinner and cheesecake !!!!!!
Please note : Less than 1% of all demonstrators earn the incentive trip each year.
