My garden seems to think so, buds on trees, daffodils up and filling out, even the primroses are peeking out of the soil, but it’s still so wet !  I know here in the UK our ‘green and pleasant’ land is due to the rain…….but enough already !  So many friends are struggling with floods and the damage is awful, so I really wish Spring would hurry up!

I had an amazing day yesterday with my 1st Level team, they are Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who are signed directly to me and twice a year we get together just for Stampin’ FUN, the day is free for them to attend as it’s one of the ways I say thank you them for being part of my team!  I always provide make and takes and this time everyone prepared something to ‘show and tell’ or demonstrate as well, we saw some amazing projects and had such a great time, laughed with friends old and new, did lots of crafting and of course there was cake !

This is one of the make and take projects, I found the card that inspired this one over a year ago and have been saving it !   HERE is the link to the card on Ann Fitzgerald’s blog, I have made a few tweaks but not many, her picture tutorial of how to make the chicks with the bird punch is great ! So do check it out.

I used the Too Kind stamp set for the grass at the back and the new fringe scissors to make the grass at the front, the embossing is using the FREE Sale-a-bration Decorative Dots embossing folder.  The eyes are tiny pearls coloured with a sharpie pen.
