I love cards in a single tone or colour, there is something effortlessly elegant about them. This is a perfect example, clean lines, soft Pistachio Pudding card, love it !
The background has been embossed using the Baroque embossing folder on our co-ordinations card and then sanded, to give that soft vintage look. Simple stamping and a tiny bit of ruffle ribbon finishes the card off. I think this would work well for an invitation too. You really need the Dust Buddy if you are sanding with the co-ordinations card, it’s a little bit strange……a sticky cloth but it works brilliantly at picking up the dust and keeping your work area clean. It does work on glitter and embossing powder too!
I have a chocolate cake with my name on it……..I did a party last week with the lovely Jane and she served this wonderful chocolate tray bake, it’s a Mary Berry recipe which she has shared with me, and I NEED to make it ! Have fun with whatever you are doing today.
