Whilst you are reading this I will be at a Stampin’ Up! regional training event with 60 of my team and 300+ demonstrators, it’s a busy end to the week. My jet lag is just about done but I am still shattered who knew having a holiday could be so tiring!
So today’s post is all about the trips and friends, you will need to come back on Monday to see all my swaps and gifts !
Our first excursion was to Labadee, Haiti, it’s a lovely beach and although I have some pictures, I am not looking at my most graceful…….many of the UK group took a jet ski ride, but I just lay in the sun and swam and read my book, bliss!
Next stop was Jamaica, I adore this island and am looking forward to going again. I arranged a private tour with Ricardo of Liberty Tours as I wanted to avoid the touristy areas. We visited the Blue Hole falls, climbed up and down them , swam in clear blue water, cliff dived, swung on ropes and even had a cold water jacuzzi ! We stopped for coconuts and some amazing Jerk Chicken, with Rice and peas and a very cold Red Stripe!
Although there were more than 6,000 people on the ship, 800+ as part of the Stampin’ Up! group you never felt crowded or squashed, our blue lanyards distinguished us so you could always find a friendly face! I met up with friends from the internet, those I met in Utah last year and some new friends too!
Our last excursion was in Cozumel, Mexico a trip organised by Michelle Last, snorkelling, there were 14 of us and we had an amazing and eventful day ! Unfortunately the weather did not help as the wind made the waves very choppy, I got out and back in the boat pretty quickly, but Brian and some of the others saw some great fish and coral reefs. The boat developed a fault on the way back too, but you know what that didn’t matter the company was awesome we had a lovely day, I even spent some of the day on the bow of the boat too!
So that’s all from me today, I’ll be back on Monday x
Love the dreadlocks! Wish the collage pics were bigger. Can’t see it in detail!
