Today is the first full day of the Stampin’ Up! European convention, I will be posting updates on my facebook page which you can find here, and I’ll do a round up of the exciting events on my blog when I get home.
I thought I would share with you today the gifts I have made for my team, I always make something special for them.
The clear mount stamp cases are lined with Typeset designer series paper and I have used the Choose Happiness stamp set to decorate them. The banner stamp in Pool Party top left, the sentiment stamped in Soft Suede on Naturals Ivory card and punched out with the Extra-Large Oval punch. Then the leaf is stamped in Soft Suede bottom right and I have stamped the flower in versa mark and heat embossed in Pool Party embossing powder on Very Vanilla card and yes I did hand cut each one out, only 47 !!!!
Yes 47, or 25% of the UK demonstrators attending convention are part of my team, which is wonderful and means lots of hugs and smiles! Attending convention is a great way to connect with Stampin’ Up! and other demonstrators, we learn and share, have training, see new products, get lots and lots of free goodies, we laugh, cry and celebrate. You don’t have to sell a certain amount, or have a certain size of business to attend convention, everyone can go, I’d love it if you would like to join us next year!
So do you want to see what is inside the case?
Essentials for convention………a notebook, which I decorated you can see a close up further down, a Project Life by Stampin’ Up! pen ( they are fabulous and write beautifully), chocolate and Dragonfly tea…….now just in case you where wondering no dragonflies were harmed in the making of the tea…….it’s just a company that makes fabulous tea! and it has a dragonfly on it so we ‘needed’ it !!!
Here is the notebook, I again heat embossed the flower in Pool Party directly onto the notebook, then covered the flower with a post it note as a mask and over-stamped the leaves in Soft Suede.
I also give my direct team members a little something extra too, this year I have also included my leaders throughout my team in this gift as they are all working at Silver 2 and above and building businesses.
You may have noticed my team logo/mascot is a dragonfly well I found this lovely jewellery maker locally who could personalise Dragonfly key rings for me, they also have a red gem on, as the convention bag Stampin’ Up! gives us is red so it will work beautifully as a bag tag.
