Nothing is as lovely, as, Lovely as a Tree for a flat, quick but looks like you spent hours on it card!

Lovely as a Tree by Amanda Fowler of Inspiring Inkin'

I took the main fir tree, inked it up with Old Olive and used an Early Espresso marker to ink up the trunk and branches and then stamped it onto the front of the card.  Then I used 2 long post-it notes and masked an area across the middle of the tree and very lightly sponged in between with Old Olive Ink.  I then inked up the tree again in Old Olive and stamped it onto scrap paper first so it was a lighter tone and stamped again between the post -it notes.  Finally I added a greeting and stuck the layers together.

Now I made mine as a birthday card but with a different greeting and a bit of glitter you could have some speedy Christmas cards too!
