The cards today have been made using a Sale-a-bration stamp set called flowering fields and it’s FREE with a £45 order, and it’s fab. So if you like to watercolour you can do that, I recommend either our watercolour paper or my personal favourite the Shimmery White paper along with Archival ink ( so it doesn’t bleed) when watercoloring.
Or you can pick up a range of ink colours, in this case all from the Subtles family, So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz and stamp randomly to make a wildflower meadow. Same stamps but different looks.
The reason I love stamping is because I can’t draw, believe me I have tried, but most things I draw are not recognisable and in fact most 3 year olds wouldn’t be proud……. So I stamp because the amazing Stampin’ Up! artists have drawn the images and then I can colour them in, embellish them and be creative and proud!
The pictures below will take you direct to my online store.
Remember the Flowering Fields stamp set can be yours for FREE when you place a £45 order, it is not available to purchase.
So I have 2 questions for you today, can you draw? and which card do you prefer? The watercolored one at the top or the coloured stamping?
Please leave me a comment below I love to hear from you!
I like them both! But what i really want to know is how did you use the banner punch to cut the ends of the long banner? (Or is the punch pictured the triple banner punch rather than the little one?)
Hi Sue, I’m pleased you liked them, you cut a strip of card smaller than the punch and feed it through the top. I can show you next time I see you and will try and include it in a video as well.
I really like them both but I think my favorite is the second one. I love how they overlap and fill the card and you don’t have to color them in. I love to just stamp and not color because sometimes my coloring isn’t the best, lol
Thanks Mary Ann, I’m so pleased you liked the cards, it is nice to have an option of not colouring in sometimes I agree !
