Case-ing Myself, well that’s a strange title for a blog post, all will become clear I promise. Crafters are a talented bunch and we are often inspired by projects made by other people. Sometimes they are so fabulous we copy them exactly as they are it’s called Case-ing. Where possible we always refer back to the original creator or where we saw the project.
I am often inspired by other peoples work but it’s rare I directly copy, I may start out with a plan but by the time I’ve finished it doesn’t bear much resemblance to the original. I also think that it’s entirely possible for 2 people to design an almost identical card too at the same time…….. I have seen team members and customers do it. Amazing stuff!
So why am I telling you all this, well I ‘cased’ myself last week…….it’s one of my most pinned cards on Pinterest and I wanted to use some Spring Summer stamps so I decided to copy myself. So this is the original card, you can read all about it and my adventures in Utah in 2013 here.
