You know today I really don’t think I could eat a cupcake……. shock horror……it is the hottest day of 2016 though so ice-cream is definitely my go to treat for the day! I am guessing that tomorrow I will be able to eat a cupcake, so don’t worry, I’m not ill, just hot !

Since I’m not eating a cupcake, how about a cupcake card instead? It’s a quick to make birthday card but looks fab!

It’s using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set, which co-ordinates with the Tree Builder punch, so you don’t have to cut out the frosting.  You do however have to cut out the candles and the cupcake liners…….. top tip…… leave some extra on the top of the cupcake liner so you have something for the frosting to stick too.  Because the liner and the candles are straight lines they are very easy to cut out.

The cupcakes at the back have been softened by running a blender pen over the inked image. I love the effect it gives.

I have been busy creating today, so far 7 cards and a bag, I’ve mainly been using a bundle that is on limited release in August, I think you are going to love it.  I shall be sharing some sneak peeks next week, don’t miss those!  My other set I have been creating with is Fairy Celebration, it’s lovely so you will be seeing lots of projects using that too.

I think it’s time though to sit in the garden with my book, you have got to make the most of the glorious British weather !
