Last week I held 2 classes each one focusing on a different stamp set, the morning class was Blooms and Wishes and the afternoon was Playful backgrounds.  Because I had several ladies who attended both classes I designed a card that used both stamp sets.

You may have noticed that my favourite colour is blue…… any shade of blue, so I thought a monochromatic blue card would work.  I love how the stamps all layer one on top of another and in actual fact it didn’t matter if you stamped the spots or the flowers first it looked the same.

I did learn something though when I was designing it, you need to have careful placement of the leaves.  The flowers are designed to have a water colour effect so are quite broken, the leaves are much more solid when stamped, so you can see from this original sample that I had tried placing the leaves over the flowers and it didn’t work you could see them too much.

I have used the lovely Metallic enamel shapes that come in Gold and Silver to lift the card too, love them!!!!
