Yes it’s a Christmas card….. in my world it’s NEVER too early to start Christmas cards or Christmas shopping, but I adore Christmas, it’s a time for me to spend with family and friends and I love to make things for them.  So since it’s now officially 6 months till Christmas I decided it was about time I shared a Christmas card with you!

At my monthly Card Clubs we make 1 Christmas card each month between Easter and August and then 3 each month September, October and November.  I run the Club 3 times a month you can find out all the details by clicking on this link here.

The wreath is made very simply by stamping the leaves, it’s simple because the branch is curved, as you can see I’ve taken a screen shot of the stamp the way you need to position it to get the circle shape.  I stamped it in Garden Green at the top of my piece of card, then moved it so half the leaf was overlapping and then stamped again without re-inking, to give the shadowed effect.  It is really straight forward once you know how, you just keep going round the circle anti-clockwise to make the wreath.  The sentiment is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set.
