Wow what a week…… well 10 days actually…… 500 miles, 3 all day events, 3 evening events, spent time with the in-laws and I gave blood too! I am so looking forward to curling up on the sofa in front of some rubbish telly with the Thai Green Curry I have simmering and a large glass of red wine!
It has been a great 10 days, I have seen lots of my awesome customers, my fabulous team and family too, there has been lots of crafting and this is one of the cards we made recently at a team meeting, it takes patience but it’s worth it! It uses the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set and matching punch which comes in a bundle that means 10% off !
The background is embossed using the Holly embossing folder, it’s in the annual catalogue, lots of people didn’t even know it was there……did you…….. it’s fab!
To make the wreath you do need to take your time, there is an outline, a filler and berries to stamp and please do them in that order, it will save you lots of faffing about. I used Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler. The stamps are photopolymer which really helps but standing up and looking over the top directly down onto what you are stamping is the best way to stamp them.
The matching punch which stamps out not only holly leaves and berries but also the cute bow on the top of the wreath, it’s a 2 step stamp so again and outline and a filler. I used Cherry Cobbler on the outline and Real Red on the filler.
