I love to make things that match……. and for a creative person I generally like order in my life!  That said when there is chaos I’m generally happy too……hmmm I don’t think I know myself that well at all!  But I know I like cards and gift tags that co-ordinate and these do. I have used a very simple palette of Dapper Denim, Gold and Whisper White.

The card front has been embossed with the Pine Bough Textured embossing folder which is great as a back ground and I have then cut out a plain bauble in Dapper Denim and then the Merriest Tags in Gold Glimmer paper.  You absolutely need the Precision Base Plate for these tags in order for them to cut cleanly, and can you see that the reindeer on the card and the tag are facing different ways ?  That is because I recommend you cut on the reverse side of the glimmer paper, so you cut through the white side, not the glimmer side.

For the tag, I reversed the order so a plain bauble in Glimmer and the Reindeer in Whisper White.  I stamped the tag with Dapper Denim ink on the Dapper Denim card and then hand cut the tag ends, which is why it’s a bit wibbly……
