Last weekend it was Kimberley’s 20th birthday, so Brian and I headed up the road to Manchester to spend a few days with her.

I can’t believe my ‘little’ girl is 20 it seems like 5 minutes ago she was a 4lb 11oz little scrap who was a very determined and independent soul from the moment she arrived, nothing much has changed, I love her warrior spirit!

We spent time just hanging out, we went for a very frosty walk around one of the old mills, finished the last bit of our Christmas shopping, checked out the Christmas Market, had some amazing meals, watched Fantastic Beasts movie (it is amazing !!!) and just generally chilled out. I didn’t really take any pictures whilst we were out but I did manage to snap a few of Kim and her card and cake.  Now this is the first year I have bought a cake………I didn’t have an oven……. but it was very yummy!

If you have seen cards I have made my children before you will know I have a bit of a thing for putting the same number of elements on the card that matches the age they are, so yes there are 20 penguins and 20 hearts on the front of the card.  I made an envelope to match.

I 3D’d one of the penguins, and I’m hoping you will be able to see, I stamped the penguins on shimmery white card stock, it really made a difference to the overall look of the card.

I think Kim approved!
