I’m a poet and I didn’t know it !

The chickens are on the card I have to show you today. Snow because it’s actually snowing and settling here in Hampshire, UK. We never get snow, the coast always keeps us quite warm so although north of us can sometimes get snow it’s rare we do.  Which brings me onto my toe, my poor little left toe, I have been keeping watch all day looking for the snow that the weather men said we might get……. and then I heard a shout from Connor, SNOW !!!!  I leapt from my desk to the window, trying to go through the metal trolley that holds my big shot and all my dies and embossing folders, it is HEAVY!  and my toe came off worse…….Owwwwww! I think you can tell by my excitement that I love snow !!!!

So I’m hopping and dancing round my craft room because it looks like it’s settling Hurrah!

So Chickens, this is one of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets called Hey Chick, it’s free with a £45 order and it is awesome.

I have been really surprised at how loved this stamp set is, by far it’s the most chosen of all of the Sale-a-bration items so far from my customers ! I did a little bit of water colouring on the crazy chick and random stamping across the back, a quick card to pull together but very cute!

I used Watermelon Wonder ink on the Chicken as the Real Red ink was just a bit too dark, not like me not to use the matching inks I know, but the tones needed to be a bit more subtle.

So I am off to ice my toe and hope it doesn’t prevent me from making snowmen and snow angels !!!! I am chuckling as I write this because the chances of the snow still being here by the morning are very slim…..I shall keep you posted!
