They say blue and green should never be seen……but they are my favourite colours! So of course I’m going to put them on a card! This one is great for a male card or kids too.
The blue and green in question are Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy as in-colours they are designed to go together. I think they look really striking as a combination. I have tried to keep the card quite simple with Very Vanilla as the backdrop.
Now the Balloon Adventures stamp set is part of a bundle with the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlets Dies. But the stamps also go with the Balloon Bouquet punch which is what I have used here. It’s on page 5 of the Stampin’ Up! Spring-Summer 2017 catalogue, if you don’t have a copy email me and I can pop one in the post to you. I know not everyone has a bigshot or Die Cutting machine so I do make sure to showcase our fab punches too!
The trick with the card above is to stamp the greeting then the balloon strings so you can position the balloons evenly. One more trick for today the Balloon Bouquet punch punches 2 balloons out the big one which I have used here and a small one. I cut my card into 2 3/4″ strips and stamp from left to right, that way I get minimal waste when punching. Try it xxx
I don’t always show the insides of my cards but I ALWAYS put a card insert in and stamp it, just finishes the card off nicely don’t you think?
