Lovely as a Tree is my oldest Stampin’ up! stamp set. It was in the very first European Stampin’ Up! catalogue when we launched in 2007, almost 10 years ago. When we get a new catalogue I always check the index at the back to see if it made it in, it will be a sad day when it leaves…….I will have my fingers crossed when I see the new catalogue next week it has survived! I love this stamp set and my customers do too, every time I bring it out at a party or a class someone buys it!
So when I wanted to share a reflection technique video with you of course I went for Lovely as a Tree.
I learned the reflection technique almost 100 years ago, yes I am that old! In the old days we used a brayer and it was so difficult to line everything up. Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig makes this so easy! Now if you don’t have a Stamp-a-ma-jig (why not?) you can use a thick piece of acetate, but a Stamp-a-ma-jig is amazing, you can see how you use it for it’s intended purpose here.
So here is the video Reflection Technique using Lovely as a Tree, it’s a really quick card, I hope you enjoy it.
So I just taught this class today at my “retirement party” club night…sold a bunch of these sets to newbies! Thank you so much for the easy peasy way to do a reflection. P.S. Also sold some Stamp-a-ma-jigs!
Hi Mary Lynn I’m so pleased that your party was a success! and that you like my way of doing a reflection too x
Awesome!
Thank you!
Thanks so much for sharing the reflection technique. I’ll find heavy acetate . I love the Lovey as a Tree stamp.
