I love working at all sorts of events and last week I was invited to a 70th birthday party to share card making and paper crafting with the attendees. It was a fabulous event enjoyed by everyone with a delicious cream tea too !
I designed a brand new bag for the event using my favourite one sheet bag as a template but this time instead of stamping it I used designer series paper.
The bag measures 7″ wide, 5″ tall and is 2″ deep, it’s big enough to fit standard cards and envelopes in or a decent sized gift.
You make it in exactly the same way as my one sheet bag so the video is below, but you need to use the following measurements.
Simple 12″x 12″ Bag
12″x 12″ card or Paper
Score at 2 1/2″ and 9 1/2″ along the first side then do a quarter turn and score at 5″ and 7″
You then follow all the same instructions.

Of course there needed to be a matching card.
and here they are together.
These bags are really pretty. I will give away a few cards for Mother’s Day in May (in Germany) and this would be really too cute to send them in.
Thanks for the idea.
