You can never have too many birthday cards! I made a stack of these last week and have sent them all already! The card uses the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set a MUST have and the Love & Affection stamp set.
I have used quite strong colours, Rose Red, Night of Navy and Mint Macaron, I think they work. The sparkle behind the stamped image is the last bit of my Sale-a-Bration Glimmer paper, I hope that we get some more coloured glimmer paper in the new catalogue! I’m sad I have used all mine up!
The Rose Red background is embossed using Petal Burst and then I die cut a large stitched oval from Whisper White card. Normally I stamp first, then punch or die cut, but the ‘It’s your birthday’ only just fits, so it was better to do it in reverse! After stamping the greeting I randomly stamped the flowers and leaves all over the oval filling in the gaps.
