I made a Dad card today! My dad is amazing for so many reasons and when I saw this Urban District stamp set I decided I had to have it! The card itself is very simple to make, but has a few little additions to make it special enough for that special person!
I have used the Milestone Moments stamp set, you’ll see this popping up all over the place on my cards, it’s a fab set, not only for significant birthdays and events but the font of the words in the set is lovely, so I keep using it!
I have stamped the happy birthday over the top of the Urban Underground designer series paper in Basic Grey. The DAD image is stamped in Basic Black and I have used a Crushed Curry marker to highlight a few of the images. You could spend hours colouring in the individual elements if you wanted to that would look fab too. The strip of card with the word Dad on it is lifted up using dimensionals. Underneath I have put 2 strips of washi tape from the same Urban Underground product suite. I love the co-ordination of product suites.
The card is finished by the most amazing metal embellishments a star, screw head and nut. I hope they make it into the next catalogue………if not I will have to stock up early!

Send me good vibes, I’m onstage at Onstage today ! I’m taking part in a panel presentation on main stage today which is very exciting. We are training about new product releases. It is such an honour to be asked to present, and I love sharing my business hints and tips with my fellow demonstrators. I am working with an amazing panel I can’t believe it’s finally here !
