So today is the day Kim is on a plane to The Netherlands! Eek! Now she has left several times before, but never to live in another country for a year, so it feels a bit different. On the upside it’s quicker to get to Amsterdam than Manchester from my house! Crazy! So in honour of her going I have a Magical Mermaid card for you. She loved Mermaids as a child and I bought the set to make some fun stationery for her, and a stack of birthday cards like this one.
I stamped the bubbles in Pool Party and then repeatedly stamped the seaweed in Wild Wasabi to give depth. The Mermaid was stamped in Basic Grey and coloured in with Blender Pens and fussy cut out. I used glue dots, rolled into little balls to attach the sequins.

I am so proud of what she is doing, she is going to be working with an amazing institute for her year in industry. I am looking forward to hearing all about her adventures too!
