Are you thinking about Christmas cards yet?
As I talk to my lovely customers I find that they all feel very differently about this card making season. Some like me, love to get ahead and make the cards early. Others like to leave it to the last minute or certainly until the weather gets colder. But most look at me with panicked eyes and go ARGH! I need to get started…..So I have some Christmas card inspiration for you today, in case you need to get started……..
I am using the fabulous Carols of Christmas stamp set. The huge greetings in the set are a great focal point and the fact that it has dies to match the tiny baubles is a huge bonus for those who don’t like fussy cutting.
I have used Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler for my Christmas colours. The dimension is given by using the Holly Textured Impressions Folder and the baubles.
You can see from the above picture I stamped the baubles onto the white card before I embossed it. I then stamped the baubles again and cut them out using the dies and popped them over the top of the stamped image with dimensionals. This made sure the bauble strings where in the right place.
