Happy Blog Birthday to me, Happy Blog birthday to me !!!!

This is my 1000th blog post !!!!

Wow, thats a lot of crafting, projects and me chatting ! Thank you so much for reading my blog and supporting my business and my love of crafting!

I thought I would celebrate with a ‘grungy’ dragonfly card that just happens to be blue, yes all the things I love in a card.

The dragonfly and the splats are from Awesomely Artistic, the background stamp is Sheet Music and the super cute Happy Birthday is from Tabs for Everything.  I have used Copper Metallic Thread, Copper foil and 3 punches! I have used the Classic Label punch and fed the punched shop back into the punch to make the flag ends. It’s easy to do and gives 2 looks from one punch!

Eeeeek I know it’s lots of products but they are so fab together!

In case you were wondering the blue is Dapper Denim and the other stamping is done in Crumb Cake.

I often get asked about the Metallic thread and how to get the loops…………. There is nothing tricky about it, I pop some dimensionals on the back of the sentiment, pull off a long piece of thread and roll it up in a ball in my hands, then press it onto the dimensionals.  Then I just even out the loops a bit and stick it onto the card front.
